Mercy Ministries UK’s Charitable Objectives

Mercy Ministries UK is a company Limited by Guarantee with charitable status established to provide opportunities for young women to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness and life transforming power.

Charitable objectives:

• To provide relief and support to women and girls affected by poverty, pregnancy, sickness, hardship and distress. This is achieved by providing to a wide range of people advice, referral information, mediation and prayer via email and telephone support, and issue specific resources such as books, CDs and DVDs. This service is free of charge.

• To provide charitable relief (by the provision of housing and support programme) to young women aged 18-28 who are struggling with life controlling issues. This is achieved through the provision of a 22 bed home providing a six month residential Christian discipleship programme. The programme also includes life skills training, life coaching, resources, fitness and nutrition and general care and support to cope with the challenges of life and prepare for a better future. This service is completely free of charge.

• To raise awareness and provide biblical tools regarding the issues that affect women and girls. This is done through literature, speaking engagements, training events and information stands at conferences.
