Become an Intern

The Mercy Ministries Internship programme is a one year programme running from September to August offering interns the opportunity to experience and assist in the different areas of Mercy Ministries according to each intern’s individual strengths.

The internship programme is a 16-hour placement (approximately 2 days per week) in the department where your strengths will be most effective. Interns will also be asked to anticipate an extra 2-4 hours required for study time per week. At present, there is no cost to the programme although interns will be asked to finance their own living and transport costs as well as purchase their own assigned work.

As an intern, you will be challenged through regular teaching that is set throughout the year. Interns will also be asked to occasionally attend class and staff training in addition to their 16 hours. Assignments will be set to help focus interns on the core concept of each term, which are Passion for God, Passion for People and Passion for Excellence.

In exchange for one year of your life, we will invest in you, encourage you and challenge you. You will be empowered to effectively manage your strengths as well as be challenged to develop a deeper understanding of God.
